Federal Solar & Energy Tax Credits Sunset — OBBBA Ends §25D and §25C
The One Big Beautiful Bill, signed July 4, 2025, terminated the 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit and the §25C Energy Efficient Home Credit for systems placed in service after Dec 31, 2025. Solar leases & PPAs still qualify under §48E through 2027. Mass Save HEAT Loan now the primary efficiency path forward.
