One accountable construction lead
Your Master GC becomes the central construction conversation instead of forcing you to coordinate every trade and project question independently.
Your Master GC is the ADU-focused general contractor selected for your territory. But the real advantage is what stands behind them: design, financing, permitting, specialty trades, municipal resources, real estate guidance, education and homeowner tools working together around the project.
Licensing, insurance, ADU experience, references and homeowner practices.
A builder who can help connect the moving pieces instead of leaving you to assemble them alone.
Financing, legal, design, trades, education and local resources are already connected.
One Master GC position per territory across all six New England states.
ADUs touch zoning, utilities, design, engineering, financing, permitting, construction, insurance, title questions, specialized trades and sometimes real estate strategy. A strong general contractor matters, but an ADU project gets easier when the contractor is not operating in a vacuum.
Your Master GC becomes the central construction conversation instead of forcing you to coordinate every trade and project question independently.
Feasibility, scope, design, permits, utilities and construction happen in an order. The program is built around that sequence.
Town lines matter. Septic, sewer, review boards, permit workflows and local building practices vary across New England.
The Bank Vault gives the project a place to explore construction, equity and state-specific financing pathways when budget questions appear.
The Courthouse helps homeowners navigate rules, permits, contracts, title and insurance questions instead of guessing.
The University, municipality resources and homeowner tools let you understand the process instead of surrendering the entire project to jargon.

Your Master GC does not have to be the architect, lender, attorney, solar installer, REALTOR® or municipal expert. They need to know when the project needs those people and where to connect the next question.
The ADU Exchange connects independent professionals and resources. Homeowners remain free to choose their own contractor and providers, and project agreements are made directly with the professionals they hire.
The live map stays exactly where it belongs: at the center of the homeowner experience. Search your town, tap a territory, or use your location.
Covers all six New England states. Or .
You’ll see the territory, towns it covers, common ADU types and the Master GC selected for that region.
A Master GC relationship should make the journey easier to understand. It does not eliminate your choices. It gives the project a central construction lead while the rest of the ecosystem stays available when needed.
Start with feasibility: zoning, utilities, lot conditions, septic or sewer and local requirements.
Detached, attached, conversion or addition. Align goals, scope, approximate budget and timing.
Design, engineering, financing, permitting or specialty trades enter when the project actually needs them.
Your contractor leads construction while the ecosystem remains available for the questions outside the jobsite.
Inspections, final documentation, occupancy, accessories and long-term use complete the journey.
Master GC candidates are reviewed for licensing, insurance, ADU experience, references and homeowner practices before they are positioned in a territory.
Territory exclusivity creates a clear point of accountability for Exchange-routed opportunities. It does not remove the homeowner’s right to choose another contractor.
The ADU Exchange is an education and connection ecosystem, not the builder. Your construction agreement is directly with the contractor you choose.

A detached ADU can involve site access, excavation, utilities, foundations, framing, roofing, windows, mechanicals, electrical, plumbing, insulation, finishes, permitting, inspections and closeout. Conversions bring their own structural, fire-safety, egress and systems questions.
The value of the Master GC program is not that one contractor knows everything. It is that the contractor is positioned inside an ADU-specific network designed to help the project get the right answer at the right stage.
